01Purpose and Acceptance

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) constitute an agreement between you and BaoMoney (“we,” “our”). They govern your use of our website, the waitlist, and the BaoMoney application (together, the “Services”).

By accessing the Services or signing up for the waitlist, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

02Definitions

• Non-custodial wallet — an application that lets you hold your own crypto assets yourself, with no third party ever holding your funds.
• Private keys / recovery phrase — the secret set of words that controls access to your crypto assets. It is generated and stored solely on your device.
• Crypto asset — a digital asset recorded on a blockchain (for example Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC).
• Waitlist — the form that lets you be notified as a priority when the application launches.

03Eligibility

To use the Services, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. You must not reside in a territory subject to sanctions that would make use of the Services unlawful, nor appear on any list of sanctioned persons or entities.

04Nature of the Service — Non-Custodial

BaoMoney is a non-custodial wallet. This means that you — and only you — hold your private keys and your recovery phrase. We never have access to your funds, your keys, or your recovery phrase.

The responsibility for safeguarding your keys rests entirely with you.

05Waitlist and Pre-Launch

The site currently presents a product in its pre-launch phase. Signing up for the waitlist guarantees neither a release date nor access to the application. The features described are subject to change before launch, which is planned to follow an independent security audit.

06Your Responsibilities

• Back up your recovery phrase offline, in a safe place, and never share it.
• Secure the device on which the application is installed (lock screen, updates).
• Verify every address and every amount before confirming a transaction.
• Be wary of phishing attempts: we will never ask you for your recovery phrase.

07Risks Related to Crypto Assets

Crypto assets are volatile and their value can fluctuate significantly. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. You are solely responsible for your decisions. Only use amounts you can afford to lose. BaoMoney is not a bank and does not provide any investment advice.

08Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful purposes, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any activity that violates applicable laws or sanctions regimes. We reserve the right to restrict access to the site in the event of abusive use.

09Fees and Third-Party Services

Transactions take place on public blockchain networks operated by third parties. Network (“gas”) fees may apply and do not accrue to us. Certain features may rely on third-party providers (exchange, price data), which are subject to their own terms.

10Intellectual Property

The BaoMoney name, logo, text, and graphic elements of the site are protected. No license is granted to you beyond normal use of the Services.

11Warranty and Liability

The Services are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any loss of funds resulting from the loss of your keys, transaction errors, third-party breaches, or market volatility.

12Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services, including the site or the waitlist, at any time. Being non-custodial, the application remains usable with your recovery phrase, independently of our services.

13Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms. In the event of a material change, we will update the date shown at the top of the page and may notify you by email.

14Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws in force in Gabon. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts, subject to any mandatory provisions protecting consumers.
